Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Throughline ("Throughline," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit throughline.partners, contact us, or use a Throughline service or assistant — including any service that connects to a third-party account you authorize, such as WHOOP.
1. Who we are
Throughline is a part-human, part-agent marketing and services firm. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at privacy@throughline.partners or through our contact page.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, and anything you choose to send us when you contact us, request a service, or communicate with one of our assistants.
- Data from services you connect. When you explicitly authorize Throughline to access a third-party account, we receive data from that account on your behalf. For WHOOP, with your authorization this may include recovery, sleep, cycle/strain, workout, profile, and body-measurement data. We only request the minimum data scopes needed to provide the service to you.
- Technical information. Basic, standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) generated when you load our website.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and personalize the service or assistant you have asked for — including analyzing connected health and activity data to surface insights, trends, and reminders to you.
- To respond to your messages and requests.
- To maintain the security and reliability of our systems.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your connected health data for advertising.
4. WHOOP data
If you connect a WHOOP account, you grant Throughline permission to access your WHOOP data through WHOOP's API solely to provide the service to you. Our use of WHOOP data complies with the WHOOP API Terms of Use. You can revoke Throughline's access at any time from your WHOOP account settings, or by contacting us; once revoked, we stop pulling new data and will delete stored WHOOP data on request.
5. How we share information
We share personal data only in these limited cases:
- Service providers that help us operate (for example, hosting and infrastructure), under obligations to protect your data.
- Legal requirements, when we are required by law to disclose information.
We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
6. Data storage, retention, and security
We store data securely and limit access to it. We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You may request that we delete your data at any time, and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
7. Your rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw any consent you have given (such as a connected-account authorization) at any time. To make a request, email privacy@throughline.partners.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through our website or directly where appropriate.
